Leadership Transition
DBSA is moving forward with new leadership. After more than seven years of dedicated service, Michael Pollock stepped down as CEO to focus on family priorities. We are deeply grateful for his leadership and lasting contributions to advancing DBSA’s mission.
As of January 1, 2026, Suzanne Baber, LCSW, is serving as Interim CEO. Suzanne brings more than 15 years of experience in finance, fundraising, program development, and integrated behavioral health, and previously led DBSA’s Peer Support Services. The Board of Directors fully supports her leadership during this transition.
DBSA is now focused on its next strategic chapter—strengthening the role of peer support within standard treatment protocols, expanding partnerships, and continuing to provide vital resources that foster connection, community, and wellness for people living with mood disorders.
